Computer Repair program

The purpose of the Computer Repair Program is to educate and allow opportunities for youth to own their own computers that they have built. This can help families that are unable to purchase their own computers. This will give the youth a sense of self worth knowing that they are capable of building their own computer which will improve their technical skills. These skills can be useful with education, employment and every day life experiances. Involvement with the program can establish ones patients, positive problem solving, complication of a finish product, and team work. Skills needed to grow into a productive and positive adult in their own communities.

Objectives:

  1. To educate in basic computer repairs.
  2. To become aware of computer parts and what their functions are.
  3. Challenge the youths to enhance their computer skills.
  4. All interested youths can be considered eligible.
  5. Develop self-esteem and self worth.
  6. Develop decision making skills.
  7. Learn to use good judgment in making choices.
