Rainbow Youth Services Girls Basketball Program

The Rainbow Youth Services AAU Girls Basketball Program gives girls the opportunity to compete outside their hometown in the game of basketball. It allows girls to play at a level where by they can improve, compete and enjoy their basketball experiance. Our goal is to prepare players to better compete on teams on which they will play in the future.

Our program provides it's players who wish to pursue basketball in college the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities at AAU sanction tournaments attended by college coaches and recruiters.

The Girls AAU basketball Program was developed by Wendall Pitt with the insight of Leroy Fogle to open up opportunities for girls to play basketball. They meet regularly with the other members of the volunteer staff to insure that the program is headed in a positive direction. The focus from the start has been to provide a low cost program for our players through fundraising and sponsorship.
